Iceboats Just For Kids

Ice Optimists were created specifically for kids using a standard Optimist dinghy sail plan. Ice Optimists are a smaller, less powerful boat than a DN, about two feet shorter in length, with a narrower plank, and less sail area. The Opti sail plan offers a spirited ride with plenty of speed, and the top of the sail will spill off power in the puffs allowing young sailors to maintain control.
